Immerse yourself in history and art
If you are a history junkie and are looking for opportunities to immerse yourself in the country’s rich roots, traditions and customs, look no further than two prominent sites in the city: the Museum of Islamic Art and Qatar National Museum. Many of the guests who are staying at the
best hotels in Doha tend to add these two attractions to their itineraries.

Inspect the best of what Islamic art has to offer at the Museum of Islamic Art. This structure comprises four storeys and holds ancient as well as contemporary artwork from Islamic nations from every nook and corner of the globe.

The National Museum of Qatar honours the distinctive history of Qatar and its people in a creative, comprehensive, and immersive manner. The structure itself is made up of 539 distinct disc-shaped components, each up to 87 meters in diameter. The discs are partially overlapping and organized in a staggered pattern.

Visit Doha Corniche
One of the iconic landmarks of Doha is the Doha Corniche. This is a waterfront promenade which is located a few paces from the renowned Museum of Islamic Art and is around a 15-minute walk away from Al Najada Doha Hotel by Tivoli. This top tourist attraction spans around 7km along Doha Bay and is a perfect spot for an afternoon stroll. This site is nicknamed Doha’s Crescent because of its shape. It draws tourists, Qataris and expatriates because of its wide offerings like trendy restaurants, parks, clubs and cultural hotspots. Many national celebrations like the National Day and National Sports Day too have been commemorated at this spot.

Experience nature
Anyone who loves nature will find visits to Al Bidda Park a treat.  It is a great spot to experience tranquillity away from the busy city life. You can relax on a bench and take in the wonderous skylines, enjoy a quiet stroll, jog or cycle in this green oasis.
Al Bidda Park is also home to an abundant array of plants. The park has 274,500 square meters of planted spaces and more than 514,000 square meters of lawns. The Wadi, a distinctive valley setting at the park's northernmost tip, is now home to a variety of wildlife, including birds, reptiles, and insects. Native trees that have adapted to the extreme conditions cause the wadi to turn green after rainy spells. This is also the ideal spot for early risers to see the rising sun over the West Bay skyscrapers.

Indulge in shopping sprees
Shopaholics will have a gala time visiting places like City Center Mall and Souq Waqif.  City Center Mall is one of the most popular shopping malls in the city. It promises a high-end shopping experience and is evidence of the city's thriving retail scene. Both locals and tourists are drawn to the mall because of its wide selection of goods and exciting events.  Souq Waqif seems out of place against the city's stark modernist skyline since it is built on the banks of the Wadi Musheireb. This Doha market is famous for its traditional handicrafts, spices, and much more.
